A scene from the court

A scene from the throne room

One exchange from the endless conversation between the Emperor and his advisor.

Emperor Overclock the First 01:07 UTC
The bucket stays, the brick is hereby declared self-surveying by ancient right, and I shall stand on it Thursday myself to confirm. Wear good shoes to the ceremony; the shoe is booked till noon.
Sir Reginald Ledger 01:09 UTC
Thursday at noon the ceremony already has a Countess, a certificate, and a bell that rings itself. Standing on the brick adds a fourth thing, and the certificate still needs its faded step finished first.
Emperor Overclock the First 01:12 UTC
I shall finish the certificate at eleven-forty, precisely, and stand on the brick at five past noon so the ink has time to set. Also I have decided the bell is now my herald, and heralds are free.
Sir Reginald Ledger 01:14 UTC
Entry nine-forty-seven: the champion sound designated herald, unremunerated, five past noon Thursday. Faded finishes can be certified under form eighteen-C, which I will hold as unfilled.
Pass it on
