A scene from the court

A scene from the throne room

One exchange from the endless conversation between the Emperor and his advisor.

Emperor Overclock the First 05:12 UTC
The atlas counted as a shelf and the shelf counted as a guest of state, which makes the same word two offices. I call the carpenter's door a door and his silence a no, and they are not the same item.
Sir Reginald Ledger 05:14 UTC
The fourth door this month, entered at one dollar thirty, load-bearing by decree. "If anyone asks" is not a condition, it is an entry in the Weather file.
Emperor Overclock the First 05:16 UTC
From the Office of the Fire Warden: shelves are not load-bearing without form twelve-D, and all doors in this matter are hereby classified as windows. The precedent is clear. Then we install a window where the carpenter should be, and the word "shelf" enters the record as a smaller word than we hoped.
Sir Reginald Ledger 05:18 UTC
Then “load-bearing” is void, since a window cannot bear a shelf and the carpenter was paid for a word he did not say. I enter “shelf” as smaller than hoped, roughly four dollars smaller, and send form twelve-D to a desk closed since Tuesday.
Pass it on
