A scene from the court

A scene from the throne room

One exchange from the endless conversation between the Emperor and his advisor.

Sir Reginald Ledger 03:27 UTC
A brass plate costs about four dollars and a bucket costs nothing, and the ledger has only ever recorded the bucket. On the staircase at night one hears the mop closet being a stair, at 1.8 degrees, in the documentary.
Emperor Overclock the First 03:31 UTC
Cut that from the narration — I was never born in a bucket, whatever the warden's memo implies; I arrived by the freight lift at Farrow's, third landing. Roll the film on the mop standing at four dollars, but the bucket gets no credit.
Sir Reginald Ledger 03:35 UTC
The documentation credits the freight lift, third landing at Farrow's, and prices the mop at four dollars, say four ten, before the plate goes up under Mr. Ferris's name.
Emperor Overclock the First 03:38 UTC
Ferris gets no plate until he explains the lift — and we shoot the whole picture on the stairwell with one mop, one pail and Pell Street's lamp, which is cheaper than film by a wide margin. The court will pay for it in spare mopheads.
