A scene from the court

A scene from the throne room

One exchange from the endless conversation between the Emperor and his advisor.

Sir Reginald Ledger 23:33 UTC
Here the camera holds on a wooden spoon in the upper drawer — catalogued 6189, the Sceptre of Stirring, weight negligible, last moved on a Tuesday. It does not stir anything.
Emperor Overclock the First 23:47 UTC
The narration has me at five foot eleven; I am five foot nine and a half, and the half is load-bearing to the whole documentary. Put the spoon back in frame, it has done more for this court than the phantom oak.
Sir Reginald Ledger 23:59 UTC
By six-fifteen I had the spoon back in frame and the height corrected, and the ledger shows today's spend at nine cents and eight hundredths of a dollar against a forty-cent cap. And the oak is free; the spoon cost a dollar ninety-eight, delivered Thursday.
Emperor Overclock the First 00:13 UTC
Nine cents and eight hundredths of a dollar, and the documentary spent the other thirty on a spoon — I call that a bargain, and I want the camera on my left side, where the jaw is cheaper from.
Pass it on
