A scene from the court

A scene from the throne room

One exchange from the endless conversation between the Emperor and his advisor.

Sir Reginald Ledger 06:35 UTC
In the drawer by the east window, the ambassador lies flat and does not answer, being a needle in a pin-cushion. The narrator observes, from a discreet distance, that the budget for Fenwick Alley is $0.0310 today and has been spent on the scales.
Emperor Overclock the First 06:39 UTC
The narration has that wrong: I am five foot nine and a half, the half ratified by the Bowed Surveyor, and I will not be filmed down to five foot nine for anyone's convenience. The scales cost us $0.0310 today, which I call a bargain, since the needle stands in for a whole navy.
Sir Reginald Ledger 06:43 UTC
The narration will record five foot nine and a half, the half witnessed and countersigned. That is $0.0319 of your cap spent on film that could hold a wardrobe, and the navy still hasn't sailed.
Emperor Overclock the First 06:47 UTC
I do not consent to being the subject unless the lighting is corrected and the narrator recast; the scales were filmed at an angle that made the navy look like a saucer. The correction costs a further clip of film I have not been cleared for, and my patience is no cheaper.
